Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
Because of this verse:For God So loved the world, that He Gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM shall not perish but have everlasting life. The fact that Jesus was resurrected, proves that He death did not hold him...He has risen and therefore we know that He is the son of God and by Him we are saved!

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?
Hi every one, The elders new that people will now resort to following Jesus instead of them and being it that they were doing things contrary to what Jesus was doing the feared that their reputation was going to be taken by Jesus and people would also resort to killing them like how they killed him b`se his resuraction proved to everyboday that he was atrue son of God.

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
Because, as He predicted, Jesus rose from the dead. This miracle was performed before their eyes, and all could see that Jesus` body was gone, for He had truly been risen up to be with God the Father. This miracle has been documented, recorded and passed down through history. People still marvel at this event, and it is celebrated throughout the world that Jesus was risen and will come again. This gives people hope and faith, and helps them to lead lives like Jesus.

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
The resurrection of Jesus removes fear and gives hope and assurance of entering into the kingdom of God. Jesus is the source of hope even today because there is no any other other way apart from Jesus` way to enter the kingdom of God. In Jesus , we rejoice and His reapearance to the deciples gives much hope of internal life. By calling His deciples Brothers, indeed we have hope to fellowship with Jesus forever. Amen!

Why is the ressurection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
Jesus promised that He would rise again to life, and indeed it was, for those who believed on Him, it strengthened their faith. That`s why the apostles had a gospel to preach, remember after his execution they had lost hope, and even gone somewhere to keep to themselves. But when He appeared to them, they came out in force, believing Jesus is another thing, but simply knowing tha He ` lives`, it gives one strength to face tommorow.

Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?
If the story of Jesus resurration goes out that shows and signifies Him truely `son of God`, for this reason they do`nt even want to hear that he resurrated.

The Resurrection

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men. The angel answered the women, "Don't be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying. Go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.' Behold, I have told you."
They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word. As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!"
They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
Then Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me."
