Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?
These elders were so embarrassed when they realized that God`s word is true. He had risen from the dead indeed, even though they had his tombed guarded he had risen and is alive. The elders offered money to the Jews to hide this information and spread that his body was stolen. Today many of us do these things by accept bribe and sinning our souls for somethings that is not factual. God does not want this, he wants us to go out and spread the good news of the kingdom, we should not be afraid to proclaim God`s word. Blessed be the name of the Lord

The fact thaqt Jesus resurrected from the dead gives us hope today, that he is a liven Lord who died to redeem us from our sins. It is the only hope for us for external life, we know we are serving a true and living God, and he is there with us at ever step of the way. They thought that by doing that the name of Jesus will not be heard to everyone. Thanks to God we are able to witness for Christ even today.

Why didnt the elders want a true story of Jess` ressurection to get out?
They simply didn`t want people to believe on Him any more. They wanted to paint Him a liar amongst the people, that He failed to raise again as he promised he would after three days.

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
The resurrection of Jesus removes fear and gives hope and assurance of entering into the kingdom of God. Jesus is the source of hope even today because there is no any other other way apart from Jesus` way to enter the kingdom of God. In Jesus , we rejoice and His reapearance to the deciples gives much hope of internal life. By calling His deciples Brothers, indeed we have hope to fellowship with Jesus forever. Amen!

Why is the ressurection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?
Jesus promised that He would rise again to life, and indeed it was, for those who believed on Him, it strengthened their faith. That`s why the apostles had a gospel to preach, remember after his execution they had lost hope, and even gone somewhere to keep to themselves. But when He appeared to them, they came out in force, believing Jesus is another thing, but simply knowing tha He ` lives`, it gives one strength to face tommorow.

The Resurrection

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men. The angel answered the women, "Don't be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying. Go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.' Behold, I have told you."
They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word. As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!"
They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
Then Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me."
