Summary of Jesus Jesus was born through the virgin Mary by the action of the Holy Spirit 2000 years ago. His birthplace was at Bethlem in Israel. His father's name was Joseph. Jesus lived in a middle class family. At the age of 30 he started his Ministry. The crucifixion of Jesus washed away our sins so that we could reconcile with God. During his stay on earth Jesus obeyed the Lord fully while living in a fleshy body.
