( Ephesians )

( 1 Thessalonians 4:14)

"While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will have the world judged in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead." ( Acts 17:30-31)

"My brothers, you descendants of Abraham's family, and others who fear God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent. Because the residents of Jerusalem and their leaders did not recognize him or understand the words of the prophets that are read every sabbath, they fulfilled those words by condemning him. Even though they found no cause for a sentence of death, they asked Pilate to have him killed. When they had carried out everything that was written about him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb. But God raised him from the dead; and for many days he appeared to those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, and they are now his witnesses to the people. And we bring you the good news that what God promised to our ancestors he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising Jesus as also it is written in the second psalm, 'You are my Son; today I have begotten you.'" ( Acts 13:26-33)

"It [righteousness] will be reckoned to us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord form the dead, who was handed over to death for our trespasses and was raised for our justification." ( Romans 4:24-25)

"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life." ( Romans 6:3-4)

"We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. The death he died, he died to sin, once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus." ( Romans 6:9-11)

For to this end Christ died and lived again, so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. ( Romans 14:14:9)

God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. ( Ephesians )

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. ( 1 Thessalonians 4:14)
