Heaven - Paradise

Is heaven and Paradise the same thing?  According to the translations of English, Hebrew and Greek in Strong's Complete Dicionary of Bible Words, the answer is no. Heaven is celestial places & sky. Paradise on the other hand is called a garden, forest, an Eden, and a place of future happiness.

When Jesus was crucified, He told the robber who repented that,"today, you will be with me in Paradise." Paradise is in the heavens.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
I think part of the reason was to be able to relate to us on a human level. To show that He,too suffered so He can understand the things we feel and suffer too.

"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

Not at all, He was just doing what God gave Him the authority to do. If you notice throughout history, all one has to do is speak the Truth for his life to be threatened, it was the same for Jesus. He was stepping on toes, so to speak and considered a trouble maker.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would ask Him to give me God's wisdom in answering questions like why He allows evil things to happen to children and the innocent if He is a Loving God. I get questions like this all the time!

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
By loving one another, others can see that we are Jesus' disciples so we are commanded to show love to one another for their sake.

He needed us to know that life on earth is hard and challenging,as it was for him.He will choose who wil enter heaven. We must forget ourself & e will find someone far greater-Jesus.Let him decide what your life shall be each day.No offering of yours can please him completely until you have given him the greatest gift of all- your will. Do this by preferring whatever  he send us each day. Do this by prefering whatever he sends us each day. Do your very best, and then accept the results as My Will.

The way Jesus died was a horrible and gruesome death and certanly very humbling because only  the worst criminals and  slaves were executed in this way. I imagine the reason  that He had to die in such a way is the Father had planned for specifically this type of execution because it so perfectly depicts so many things necessary for a full comprehension of sin and its horror. And it was such a shameful death for Jesus to be between 2 criminals and doesnt sin cause shame.

I don't think Jesus Incited it, He was able to see the future,He wanted to please his father & fulfill the prophecy.

Incite? No
I do not think He was trying to incite His death.  Being fully God and fully man, He knew what was going to happen.  That does not mean He had to cause it to happen.  He has no need to manipulate or try to control events.  The Father is in control, and everything Jesus did was in obedience to the Father. In the gospel of John, Jesus said that He had authority to lay down His life and to take it up again. The fact that He willingly did so, enduring such torture, for my sake, is amazing.
