How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?

To know Jesus is to love him. All God asks is 10 little commandments for us to follow. We have to oppurtunity to do as we want in our lives. It is up to us to be obedient to God and when we can, help others

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
First I would say "Thank You." for dieing for my sins and ask him all about what he did for us, then ask Jesus to help all the people addicted to drugs and get rid of all the gangs and violance. Then  ask him to help all the poor and those who are homeless. Next, ask him to help all those who are in jail to change their lives around. I'd also ask him to help to heal the sick. Then to teach me everything I needed to know and do to help others to know God so everyone could have everlasting life with God our Father. Lastly I would ask him to help me and all the others who smoke, to help us stop!

Jesus accomplished all of them! I beleive if Jesus was not sent to us, to preach and do all the things he did...our world would be worse off  more than it is today. Jesus is my savior and I thank him for everything he does for me daily.

JESUS did accomplishe all of these because HE came into this world to save us from all of our sins and to learn to love everybody as HE has loved us.  HE died on the cross for us and to think that that GOD sent HIS  only SON for us now you tell me what kind of love that is.  We are already judge if we never believe that JESUS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE.  JESUS came to bring peace love and joy and to TEACH the love of GOD and to know that the kindgom of GOD is at hand and that its time now to lay down all the jealousy, hatred, envy and etc.  If you cannot love your fellow man how can you love GOD?  For GOD is love and in order to see JESUS we have got to love everybody.

Jesus the begotten son of God born out man, demonstrated the humane hardships we go through and Him was neither spared nor treated specially. Through Him we believe in our savior Jesus christ with all our soul, mind and heart because He saved us and always with us!

All these purposes were accomplished by Jesus but there is one very major purpose among these that i believe compounded all these purposes,and this being TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR OTHERS.He came and died on the cross for us to be forgiven our sins,this shows how he loves us and at the same time to demonstrate Gods love through death on the cross on our behalf.Again through death on the cross,he brought good news of which still continued to be taught nowadays and which has helped many Christians to understand their worth before God.He is the way,the truth and life and whoever loses his or her life because of him,will find it and will rejoice with the Lord in His heavenly kingdom.So with his death on the cross,He fulfilled this great purpose.He says he is the way to the Kingdom of God,that anyone who wants to inherit the kingdom of God must follow him,in this and through his death on the cross,he helped people to understand the kingdom of God.How beautiful the kingdom of God is and the way to the kingdom of the Heavenly Father.Read below some Bible Quotes."The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many" - (Jesus quoted by Matthew 20:28)"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. I believed Jesus has accomplished ALL. For at the cross Jesus cried "It is finished!" (John 19:30) Jesus came indeed to bring Good News (Gospel) for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. (John 18:37)...for this reason I was born and for this I came into the world to testify to the truth... I have been meditating on Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes so that I may see the wonderful truth of your law(Spirit). Jesus leaves us with a Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit) to help us understand the kingdom of GOD for the Spirit is a counsellor. Hallelujah!
