For the Bible scriptures to be fulfilled that (A son will be born from a virgin, lion of judah and many more scriptures talking about the birth of Jesus through a woman) and for mankind to really believe Jesus is real.  Jesus' true sacrifice for mankind and to show mankind that the wages of sin is death.

But I think the other thing to consider is that if Jesus would only have experienced spiritual separation and there was no way to observe his suffering, we would not have had the assurance we need that God has fully taken on our pain, has been accustomed to pain all our existence, and embraced that pain in such a way that He redeemed the experience. We suffer so much exactly because we are made in God's image, but we sometimes think that He is somehow exempt from pain. The cross has forever put that myth to rest. We still cause God pain when we "grieve the Holy Spirit" (Ephesians 4:30). We can come to see that God is in pain when we go through physical and emotional pain ourselves.

Yes, Jesus believes that lowly people are valuable...they need Him and He loves abundantly those that need and trust Him. Each moment of our lives we should be lowly people, humbly asking for His love and sharing it with others.

He had to completely and fully pay for our sin and curse both from a physical and spiritual aspect.  He lifted God's wrath, which is to come, from those who put their trust in Jesus Christ.

Jesus penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain because that was how God plan it to be. Remember He was complete flesh while on earth and also complete God. He died the death that was meant for us, which came as a result of our sins.

His death made way between where we are and where God is, so that any one can reach God with intimate relationship.

Jesus penalty needed physical and emotional pain so that us mortal being must really see the pains that are there in saving the nation. Jesus Christ suffered emotional pain because if Jesus has only suffered spiritual pain only people will not have known how much God loved them.
