Paise God!! www.jesuscentral.com/16383   May 18, 2007 Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? i believe that in order for our sins to be truly forgiven, he had to be able to physically and emotionally feel what so many of us feel and by him doing that, when we individually can grasp and accept what he did for each of us can we truely accept him in our lives and with this acceptance we will know that our sins our forgiven. He wants us to trust him, to believe in him and rely on him for everything and if we follow this new commandment, than we are showing him that we love him above ourselves and others.
