April 08, 2009 Why was Jesus so willing, even eager, to heal the leper?
Jesus was aware of what it felt like to be an outcast in society and so He empathised fully with the leper and was eager to help him find his way back to society. The leper had also humbled himself before Jesus and asked for help sincerely.

July 03, 2007 If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was the Son of God, what would you include in that report?
If I were Mark I think I would write about the events that speak for themselves like the miracles. Parables are good but they require correct and proper interpretation to have the desired effect on the target audience. A miracle on the other hand needs no interpretation and its impact is unbelievable. I think Mark had the right stratergy if his target group were the romans who were sceptics anyway. but even they would have a hard time discounting a miracle.
June 15, 2007 What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus?
Peter was witnessing the impeding torture and percecution of Christ. He was therefor afraid for his own life. A lot of people are still to identify with Jesus because those who do tend to be put under scrutiny and people wait for you to trip up and then judge you quite harshly. To be constantly under the sportlight is frightening. But really there is nothing to be afraid of. Ones faith aught to be able to help that person cope with anything thrown at them.
