January 12, 2007 How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. I feel that you have to love everyone in order to feel the love of God in the full power of it. That means you should forgive those who hurt you . You might not like that person but forgiving and keeping your side clean is the way to go Love for Enemies You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.` But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
