It is my belief that Jesus demonstrated Truth in the Power Of The Spoken Word and we can demonstrate the Truth and this is how: All that pertains to self must be put away as fast as it is revealed, and that which is of the universal, the Christ, must take its place. Be still and witness the salvation of the Lord. You doubtless fully know that this stillness in the secret place of the Most High is not mental torpor, but a quiet tranquillity that holds itself in an equipoise of spiritual security. What are the works Jesus did that his followers do now because Jesus is with the Father? Jesus spoke/speaks with the authority from God the Father. He is God because God the father works through Him. Jesus is /was compassionate, merciful, loved preaching the good news as He was annointed for the task " Isiah 61". Jesus instructed (commissioned ) His followers today to be soul winners (Globe outreach) becasue even Himself made known about Himself to people(Deciples) "Mathew 28 Vs 19-20". The followers now can do more and more if they believe. The following are the things the followers can do: cast out demons; speak with new tongues;they shall take up the serpents and if they drink any deadly thing,it will not hurt them; they shall lay hands upon the sick and the sick shall recover "please!!! read MARK 16 VS 17-18". Jesus` works that we must carry on are ministering to the poor and the sick and needy, and most importantly, to spread His precious Word by following His commandments ourselves that others may see from our life how wonderful it is to be a child of God and to love Jesus as Lord. We are an example of how He is because when we are saved, Jesus lives in us and we strive every minute to be like Him. He forgives us when we fail and He strengthens us when we need Him most. Bringing more lost sheep to the flock and how does it happen that the works they can do are even greater than Jesus himself? is it because they are called to found the Church and stretch Christ`s arms wherever in the world reaching out for every single corner. Fishing men everywhere and bringing everywhere the Ark of the Alliance and all this throughout the centuries the millennia.
