No...cause of HIS love HE sent His only son to us for our sins, to remind us that HE love us unconditionally

How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?

by obey His words means already make the intimacy with Him...not a new commandment already implicit in last 2 commandment
