What are the childlike qualities necessary to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?
Jesus wants us to have the childlike qualities of humility and dependence upon Him in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Our minds must be free of preconceptions and accepting of the teachings of our Lord.

Why did Jesus choose to obtain the stater from a fish rather than from a more conventional source of money?
This was not so much a parable about the payment of taxes, but an exercise for Peter's faith. Many times throughout the gospels we are told of Peter's sometimes weak faith, such as when he walked on the water with Jesus. This is another example of Christ showing His power to Simon-Peter

How can one increase his faith to be the size of a mustard seed? (see also Luke 17:5-19)
For me, the more I meditate on the Bible, and the more time I spend in prayer, the more my faith grows. As I take notice of the wonders of the creation all around me, and count the blessings poured out upon me, my faith grows day by day and hour by hour.

Why did Jesus take just Peter, James and John with Him to witness his transfiguration?
These three were the 'inner circle' of the 'inner circle': John was the 'disciple which Jesus loved', and the one to whom he would entrust his mother's care, when He said on the cross to her 'woman, behold your son'; Peter was the one who most tested Jesus' patience, the one who walked on the water with Jesus, the one who denied Him three times; James also was very special to Jesus. Jesus knew it was these three who could bear witnessing the miracle of the transfiguration.

Why was Peter`s rebuke a stumbling block to Jesus?
Jesus mission on earth was to live a sinless life as a mortal man, and then to be cruelly sacrificed on the cross that His blood would wash away the sins of men. Peter was as a stumbling block in trying to convince Christ that He did not need to endure the sufferings imposed by the chief priests and Pharisees.
