How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as "Private"

The fact that Jesus speaks these words to me in my heart elates me.  There are times when the presence of Him in my heart and the encompassing presence of the Holy Spirit lift me into an emotion or a place that cannot be described.

Knowing that Jesus sits at the Father's right hand and intercedes on my behalf is a comfort.  I know that I am a sinner and although I try to live in the light, I fail, regularly, and miserably.  But even so, God still loves me and Jesus will never desert me.  I am a work-in-progress and I try to live as God would have me live.  I get better day by day, but thanks to God's amazing grace I will still be His when I fall short.

This doesn't mean that since I am forgiven of everything I do that it is alright to go out and sin willfully and fall back on His grace.  If you truly have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and the Holy Spirt has come to you, you avoid willful sin.  And the sins that we do commit, we are repentant of, and we ask God to forgive us.  And he does.

One last comment.  I believe that a person's faith is personal, but I don't believe it is private.  I encourage all of my classmembers to post their responses public.  We are the light of the world and we shouldn't hide it.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

The amazing act of God's forgivenes of our sins is a clear sign of his steadfast lovingkindness.  How can we comprehend a love so great that everything is forgiven.....every time"  The only things we can do is continually express our adoration for Him and share the love that He has for us.

If we are loved so much, why can't we also love"  God's complete and unearned love provides us a cup that runneth over and we must share that with other people.

God's love is everlasting and steadfast.  It doesn't change day by day or year by year.  The changes we sense are our ability to accept, return, and share this gift of unconditional love.  The more we know Him, the closer we are to Him, and the more we feel and understand his love.  If we truly accept His love, we cannot help but live in His light and share.

What is the Kingdom of God?

A kingdom consists of a king and his subjects; those that follow and obey the king.  The Kingdom of God is made by God, for us.  If we believe in Christ the King, and we try to do His will, we are in the Kingdom of God.

Of course we will not see the ultimate Kingdom until Christ comes again, but even today we can look around and see the glories of the Kingdom of God.  We pray for the complete Kingdom to come to us as it is in Heaven, and it will...........someday.  Until then we can still be members of His Kingdom by obeying and living in Jesus Christ and we will be counted as sheep when the full Kingdom is made available to us.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"

Being loved by God means acceptance of His Son, Jesus Christ into your heart and life.  If we believe and follow the teachings of Jesus we will dwell in His love forever.

People who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior know the feeling of God's love.  The moment we open our hearts for Christ to occupy, we understand the peace and tranquility knowing that we abide in God's love.

God's love is unfathonable and never-ending.  We cannot grasp a full understanding of how much God loves us.  His love is steadfast, regardless of our sinful nature.  He wants us to walk with Him and abide in Him, and when we do, His love will change us and we will express that love to all those around us

It's One of Those Days

Today is one of the days I love.  On occasion I can really feel the Spirit working in me.  I get consumed with passion for Christ and totally engulfed by the Holy Spirit.  I feel as though I'll burst with joy and peace in my faith.

It really reminds me that "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength" (Phillipians 4:13)
