May 09, 2007 Why do Jesus`s enemies keep demanding a sign? Why doesn`t Jesus do a miracle for them? i believe it was a way to catch him doing something wrong. they didnt believe he was the messiah but some sort of prophet or magician. May 09, 2007 How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment? there is a relationship between love and obedience. if you love someone then it is easy to respect and obey. JESUS says if you love then you will obey my commands. it is evident that Jesus loves us so mucch to want to live in our sinful hearts, all we have to do is open when he knocks, he doesnt want anything more from us, he accepts us the way we are. the love of God is unconditional and eternal

April 20, 2007 Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? Yes, Jesus in the beatitudes said blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven, though in this case Jesus means the opposite of spiritual pride and makes us realize that the best efforts towards spirituality is nothing before God, Jesus says blessed are those who have nothing but still follow, seek and go to God a typical exaample is the story of the widow who gave her very best to God''her all'' i think there is some sort of meekness and humility of lowly people that Jesus wants us to imbibe, Jesus always refers to the children and lowly people in his teachings
