April 21, 2007 Love one another - Love your neighbour as yourself - This is not an easy thing to read when we see all around how naughty people can be, when we see war, child abuse, crimes etc.

April 10, 2007 Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? I think he had to suffer physically and emotionally as he wanted to take all sufferings that people go through on earth so that we can be healed in his actions. Also, as he came to earth like a human being, he had to go through human sufferings to make us see that he has gone through all this before us. Through these sufferings, whenever we complain and suffer about an illness or whatever, we will always remember that he has gone through them all even if he didn`t deserve it.

April 10, 2007 Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?) I don`t think he was trying to incite his death. It was God`s plans anyway that his Son would die for us and he would do so to forgive us from our sins. I think what he did in the temple was because he was fed up of seeing people acting like they did. Even if he didn`t act like this, he would die the same way on the cross

April 10, 2007 Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished? I believe Jesus accomplished all. He demonstrated God`s Love by giving his life on the cross as a sacrifice for us. He brought good news to the poor and healed all sick people He`s a source of abundant life, if we go to him we`ll receive abundant life. He came on earth to make us understand the Kingdom of God.

April 10, 2007 If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss? I think the first thing I would discuss would be eternal life. I would also ask him if he feels I`m on the right path, following the right track to gain eternal life. I think I would also ask him if the persons I love who are now dead are in his Kingdom. Well there are a lot of things to be discussed! I`d ask him about his death on the cross etc.
