Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable?
The king ''God'' was angry because his subjects did not respect his invitation. He asked them out of love, but they did not take Him seriously. When God invites us to live in His kingdom, we are expected to take it seriously, and prepare for it by putting on the right clothing so that as disciples of Jesus we may enter the kingdom of Heaven as the children of God. The people in the parable were unprepared in every way to receive the Lord, therefore they were destroyed.

What was it about Jesus` answer that caused the Pharisees and Herodians to marvel?
Because Jesus was always honest and true to God, the Pharisees could not understand that. They sought to trick Him, but failed miserably! Because the Pharisees were dishonest, and self seeking, they marvelled at Jesus answer as it was not something they would have thought of.

Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees?
The chief priests and pharisees were greedy and self centred. They wanted power and used God as a tool to get it. This way they could control the people and have everything they wanted. God saw this and was very unhappy with them, which is why the Kingdom was taken away from them.

In what ways did Jesus serve when He was on earth? In what ways is He still serving now?
Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice to serve us all by dying for us on the cross. Another way he served was to perform miracles, saving the lives of many and healing the sick. Perhaps the most poignant of all was that he washed the feet of His disciples.

Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die?
To prepare them for the time when He would no longer be around. The disciples had to understand what was going to happen, and how they would move forward and take the scriptures to all parts of the world.
