Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Let us take the words of Jesus, where we can find the answer to this. ''1'' Without Bloodshed there is no forgiveness of Sin. - He had to spill his Holy Blood on this cursed land and all the people so that they may be cleansed from their sins. ''2'' You believe because you see. Those who believe that they do not see are blessed. - People will believe Him that He is God only and only if He does what he did. People saw his sufferings and wept and mourned and confessed and witnessed because He endured physical pain. Penalty for sin needs all this.

Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)
For the past 3 years in His ministry, Jesus had by many means ''stories, parables, miracles, speeches'' tried to give the people the god message of the Love God. But people were afraid to accept Him and follow Him due to fear of the leaders. So Jesus openly accused the leaders in front of the people, so that people will believe He is above all the leaders ''some even wondered, but failed to believe in Him, as we sometimes do''. So Jesus was trying His very best to do his mission.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
As I think about this situation, one incident in Jesus life creeps in, that is his hanging between two culprits. When one said `Dear Lord remember me when you will reign as king`. May be I will ask the same request to Jesus.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
All the old commandments, we have broken during our daily living process. Love one another is one single commandment which includes all the old ten commandments.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
Suppose you are indebted to a person for some amount and you are not in a position to repay it, and you approach the person about your situation and the person says that you don`t have to pay anything, you will honor him above all. In your spiritual life God forgave all your sins that you were born with and all that you added during your life. Your love for Him will increase more and more.
