June 22, 2007 What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
Judas Iscariot is a loophole for the realisation of the mission of Christ. It is gain for Christ who was condemned to death through the betrayal of Judas Iscariot and man whose sins are borne away through it..The mission of Christ is known to have been accomplished through it.The person of Judas was in the plan of God for the death and resrrection of Christ.
I''Judas is included when Christ said;`Father forgive them ...
2''Judas act was in fulfillment of the sciptures, viz;Prophet Jeremiah.
3''He suffered shame and suicide.
His meeting with the chief priest and elders could not reverse his error, he repented late in our own eyes
unfortunately he hanged himself but surely Christ forgive him.
Never the less, if Judas did not betray Christ the way he did, which other better manner could the salvation of man be obtained having been already mandated by the Creator Himself"
Potter`s field bought with the 30 pieces of silver continues a permanent reminder of man`s inability to cover sin.

May 31, 2007 What made Jesus` teaching so attactive to tax collectors and prostitutes?
Tax collectors and prostitutes were the examples of evil and unrighteousness. They were widely hated and abhored by the Pharesees and Scribes. But Christ treated them with love and understanding and never subjected them to any form of hatred.Christ also assured them of inheritance of the kingdom of God if they could honestly repent of their sins. The teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ gave them hope and good expectations.
May 28, 2007 Why did Jesus clear the temple in such a dramatic manner? Why did not he try to accomplish the same thing more diplomatically?
The eviction of Temple traders has two major significance:
1''It is a total disagreement of using the house of God as a business centre not just in Christ`s own time but in our own time too.
2''By driving out all those who engage in such deals Jesus demonstrared his power over evil.He also teaches here the importance of understanding that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore should be well guarded against the intrussion of all evil intents.Serving the Lord is in truth and in spirit and never could be faked by indulging in unwholesome activities that does not bring glory unto the Lord..
May 24, 2007 Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die?
First of all, Jesus Christ demonstrated to them the fact that he is aware of what is going to happen.Yet ready, undeterred and unshaking zeal to accomplish what is written in the scriptures.
Secondly, He notifies them of this fact inorder to alert them of persecutions ahead even for his followers and encouraging them to remain steadfast in such trial times so as to receive the joy of God`s blessings.
Thirdly, he wanted them to know that his death and resurrection will bring victory and not damnation to every one who believes in him - eternal life to us all.
