In doing this, God decided to reveal himself and become close to his creation through Jesus Christ. The bible shows us the miraculous things that Jesus did and as EMMANUEL, it clearly shows that through him, 'God is with us'. Jesus is therefore, a bridge between man and God always bringing us closer whenever there is a broken relationship with our father. It is only through him that we are forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness. That is why Jesus is referred to as 'the way, truth and life'. The final hours of Jesus potray a preparedness and such great faith that Jesus had in God. As a man, the thought of death on the cross was frightening, but through prayer and comfort from God, Jesus was eevn more determined to finish the race and conquer death. Jesus' death and resurrection are clear pointers that God is in charge and that nothing man does can thwart his plans! Jesus fulfils the analogy of the seed which has to die, be broken and later bear much fruit
