Since Luke was researching for a high government official, "Most Excellent Theophilis", how many eyewitnesses (and who) do you think Luke interviewed before writing his report? luke himself was eyewithness and he must have seen what Jesus did during his missions. Also he must have interviewed disciples and follower of Jesus. Also he may have got information from the patience who got healing from Jesus.
