One of his missions to the world was to heal the people of the earth. so as GOD him self so loved the word he gave in his only begoten son and who so ever beleives in him will not perish but have evalasting life. After the fall of man the connection between GOD and man was broken so he had to find a way of uniting  man and him thats one of the ways jesus had to heal the  many and unite them to his father who sent him.

The God's Word translation runs as follows: "Moses' teachings and the prophets were in force until the time of John. Since that time, people have been telling the good news about the kingdom of God, and everyone is trying to force their way into it." The KJV and the Webster translation have: "The law and the prophets [were] until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached and every man presseth into it." The ASV runs as follows: "The law and the prophets [were] until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached and every man entereth violently into it."2 Luther renders: "Das
I am very grateful to the anonymous readers of JBL and to James VanderKam for their helpful suggestions. 1 I.e., the first hand in the Sinaiticus (fourth-fifth century, London), G (tenth century, London), 788 (tenth century, Athens), and 716 (fourteenth century, London). See, e.g., the critical apparatus of Andreas Merk, Novum Testamentum graece et latine (Rome: Pontificium Institutum Biblicum, 1984). 2 The Darby Bible translates: "The law and the prophets [were] until John: from that time the glad tidings of the kingdom of God are announced and everyone forces his way into it
