Why was it evil for the scribes and Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus? What was evil asking a sign from Jesus is that the scribes and Pharisees wantes to put into tentation to Jesus, to prove his power, but by doing that Jesus would have please men and not seeking the Glory of God.

What did the Pharisees say against the Holy Spirit and why was it such a serious offense? The pharisees said that Jesus was casting out demons with evil spirit, not with the holy spirit, of course it was an offense to the holy Spirit because the holy spirit comes from above, descends from heaven, from his holy father the God. Jesus was casting out demons with the holy spirit not with an evil spirit. Not believing in the holy spirit o making offenses to the holy spirit it is the same as doing it to his father and that it is a serious offense.
