What was Jesus trying to teach people when He deliberately violated the Sabbath in order to heal people? Jesus was trying to teach people that He is the Lord of the sabbath, and above the law was charity, mercy, and also that above law and sabbath was men, that was created by the same God that created Sabbath. Men are much more valuable to God than a day. In fact, sabbath was created to glorify God and charity and mercy to mankind it is a perfect practice to do so. It is God' desire.

Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants? Because those wise and intelligent depend to much on his wisdom and intelligence, they are not humble and would not even open their mind to something not reasonable. They need proofs and facts. Revelation does not cover that. It is a gift from God. Need to become as a child, simple and open mind to absorbe revelation from above.
