Jesus first forgave the paralytic's sins, and only later heal him, because he was trying to communicate us that spirit release by forgiving our sins ir priority to our physical healness. We rather have forgiveness, and grace first to be prepared for physical healness.

Why did the people ask Jesus to leave, even after He delivered the two demon-possessed men?

People asked Jesus to leave after he delivered the two demon-possessed men because they did not recognized Jesus as the son of God and his power. They probably thought it was evil power, an enigma that cause them fear.

Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm?

The disciples had fear, and they expressed their emotions by saying: "save us Oh Lord, we are dying". The desperation of dying make them to ask Jesus for help. I dare to say that the disciples should have had confidence and trust that Jesus was there and that they were not going to dye, even though the storm was violent, they would have had peace, because they knew Jesus was there to take control of the situation. Just resting peacefully as Jesus was. And of course they should have prayed God the Father as Jesus has taught them.
