Why is religious hypocrisy so offensive to Jesus?
Because the people guilty of hypocrisy do not practice what they preach. JESUS led by example and was the greatest servant known to man. He loved, served and wanted to show us how important it was to put our faith and belief into action.

Why is religious hypocrisy so offensive to Jesus?
Hypocrisy is so offensive to Jesus because He wants us to do as we say, see the wrong in ourselves before we criticize others' faults, and not do anything so as to be recognized or praised for doing so.

Why is religious hypocrisy so offensive to Jesus?
"At the root level, there were irreconcilable differences between them. Jesus loved them, but he hated the religious mentality they promoted, and he fought it literally to this death. Unfortunately, the religious mentality of the Pharisees has infected Christianity. In fact, it has infected every church denomination and every individual Christian (including you and me). In order to avoid this infection, we must understand and reject the religious mentality. How?  By identifying and understanding the specific conflicts between Jesus and the religious Leaders, reconciling Scripture (word of God) against the religious mentality of the religious leaders and purging the differences into the lake of fire." In Greek ‘hypocrite’ simply means ‘actor’hypocrisy (Greek, hupokrisia) - acting, playing a part, feigning to be better than one is, or what one is not: concealment of true character or belief (not necessarily conscious).
