Jesus said give to ceasar what is ceasars

meaning his inscription was on the denarius. give to God  what is God's. We where made in God's image and belong to him, so all we have and posess belong to God.  We are to get along with the rules of gov't as long as they don't oppose God's word. When you think about it this is becoming increasingly more difficult because society or the earthly powers that be are trying to separate God fearing people from their faith. Yes they marvaled at what Jesus said and yes they hated paying taxes to ceasar and even having his pagan images around them, but that didn't stop them from carrying denarius in there pockets or from conspiring to have Jesus killed. That is why they were called hypocrites.
