If you liken this to GOD and his marriage between JESUS and the church many are invited to attend the celebration, but many do not respond to the invitation to join the celebration and or eucharist. Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable? Because they refused to join him, Jesus is asking us to come and join him

Why was the king so angry when those invited did not come to the wedding banquet? What point was Jesus making with this parable? The king was angry because the people only did what they wanted to do and ignored the invitation, just as Jesus invites us, we must respond to join Him. Blessings.
