Why was it evil for the scribes and Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus? They were evil in asking Jesus for a sign because they didn't believe in Him and were trying to entrap Him. Blessings.

Why was it evil for the scribes and Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus? It was indeed evil for the scribes and the Pharisees to ask a sign from Jesus inspite of seeing so many miracles done by Jesus. They had no faith and trust in Jesus and were jealous of him and were trying very hard to test him. The scribes and the Pharisees never succeeded in their dirty works. Jesus always conquered and will always conquer and guide and protect us. Thank you Jesus.
