Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus? They were part of the geneology tree and had a roll in leading up to the birth of the Christ. Even with the influence of evil and wrong, the strong and faithful will survive. God's will is to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
