The people were not only conducting business, they were using the temple as a gambling house. The temple is a sacred place, a place were Jesus and his followers would go to pray and make atonements.

Jesus also realised that they were cheating the people, they focus would not be on praying or the Word of God it was only on making money.

You experience peace and joy within, you reach out to people more. The love of Jesus is always on your mind and on your lips.

You also go through tough times especially with non-believers who don't want to believe that you have made a change. This is the time you need to keep grounded in the Word of God because when Satan lose a soul he works hard to get it back.
