How did this woman`s broken past lead to her advantage? This woman must have been watching and listening to Jesus. She must have known many persons who like her were helped by Jesus. In her need to correct her broken past she boldly went where Jesus was, uninvited, scorned by many, she anointed Jesus. Her broken past lead to her advantage to be forgiven of her many sins and start her life afresh. She knew that to be set free from such a dark past can only be achieved by humbly seeking Jesus' redemption. She braved, the stares and the contempt of the persons present to achieve her desire. Imagine the fear that overcame her when she decided to try to approach Jesus, not so much the fear of Jesus but the fear of those who knew her and the hate and anger that she saw in there faces, how relieved she was when Jesus spoke those words to her, your sins are forgiven.
