What does Jesus try to teach his disciples by going with them through the storm?
Jesus is trying to teach His disciples that whatever things they go through in this life whether good or bad, in this case a storm, once their faith is route and grounded and God is in control of their life they should never be doubtful or afraid.  Imagine the disciples were with Jesus daily, they saw all He did, He was right there with them in the boat and He had to rebuke the winds and the rains to calm there nerves and they were still wondering what manner of man is He.  Faith is a very powerful tool which Jesus teaches and that is what He was trying to instill in His disciples, to be fearless and unafraid, He was preparing them for greater things that they will have to do with perseverance and suffering when He returns to His Father and they are left to continue His ministry.

How does Jesus react to people to tell him to go away?

I think the question should read "How does Jesus react to people who tell Him to go away?"

Persons who witness the many miracleous teachings and deliverances of Jesus and who insist that He should go away do it out of fear while others are upset if what is done causes them to lose income or prominence.  In the case of this man who was healed and who wanted to go with Jesus, Jesus' reaction was that he should stay.  His staying in his own country would remind the people who knew him before his healing what took place and he can be a witness to teach others about the goodness and mercy of Jesus. Jesus knew that some persons will want Him to go away and he will react by warning them of the consequences of denial, He would instruct persons who were delivered not to follow Him but remain and at other times He would tell some not to tell what had happened because by just remembering what the persons had overcome would be a living testimony of Jesus' power.

How does Jesus respond to people who desperately seek him?
Jesus' response to people who desperately seek Him is that of compassion and love. The love of the father for the world (John 3:16) is the reason why Jesus was sent and like our Father, Jesus' love is seen everywhere He went, to everyone who He met daily in all circumstances and conditions of life.
