 | Brief summary of Jesus |
Jesus was born in a manger to a poor virgin girl named Mary who was espoused to Joseph who eventually accepted the Virgin Birth. At his early days baby Jesus' parents had to find a secure home for Jesus to save him from Herod. He grew up as a carpenter and at the age of 12 people marveled at His knowledge of God's words and their meaning. From the age of Thirty until His crucifiction, He taught about salvation, the heavenly kingdom, love, kindness, patience, faith, all the things that we should do to be accepted when He returns. He healed and raised the dead, He taught by using parables at times, He gave hope to the poor, the outcast, the down trodden, sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf etc, fed the hungry, even paid His taxes. He did marvelous things and still He was hated and envied and was betrayed by one of His own disciple and denied by another, eventually He was treated brutally by the people and crucified but thanks be to God He is now seated at the right hand of God our father waiting to welcome us who choose to follow Him home.
