Brief Summary of the life of Jesus and what I know today

Jesus, a carpenter, a perfect human being, the Son of God, was crucifed, dead and burried for the sins of the world. He was without sin yet he paid the price with His life on Calvarys' Cross. John 3:16 a very well-known and familiar verse says:- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosover believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. This says it all, our sins are already paid for by Jesus the Savior, we just have to confess our sins, obey his commandments and accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Jesus loves us, how can we deny that when we know His Blood was shed for us, during that time of torture and torment He still asked His Father, "Father, forgive them for they no not what they do", He did not only mean those who nailed Him to the Cross, or who spat on him or stoned Him, that meant all of us. The Bible says He knew us before we were born soall this is evidence of His love.

Today we need to show a little more love to our neighbours, our co-workers, but first we have to dig deep in our hearts and love and forgive ourself, ask God to do the same for us, then and only then, we will be able to extend that love to one another.

Jesus is still healing today, we need to ask Him into our lives, read his written word - The Bible. In Rev.3:20 it reads; Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me.

Ask Him in today, He is just a prayer away.

Diana.

How does Jesus define greatness, and is caring for a little child an example of greatness?

Jesus defines greatness as serving, filled with humility and compassion. Caring for children is an example of greatness, having patience and understanding are valuable traits in raring a child.
