He acted different and surprised himself when he denied Jesus. "Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?" Jesus accomplish all that his father has sent him to do .

Why did not the Father let the cup pass and spare Jesus the pain of the crucifiction? God's purpose was to rescue us from perishing by sending His Son Christ to die on the cross. Jesus felt compelled to ask for the cup to pass, and He also knew that if He turn away from the cross, the world be not have a Saviour. God's plans are so perfect, that when the enemy taught we were going to be lost forever when Jesus died, he had another thing coming, when he took the keys of death with Him when He was raised from the dead and sits on the right hand of the Father, Jesus is the Deliverer, I know He delivered me!!!
