How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. everyone makes mistakes and therefore should be forgiven. God has promised us forgiveness once we ask for it because he knows this fact and he is a God of Compassion. One of his messages was to love one another just as he loves us. By asking Him to forgive us our sins, this shows that we ourselves have love for our Father because it hurts us to know that we've disobeyed Him, and will go through any measures necessary to gain His forgiveness. By asking God for forgiveness, He forgives us. Knowing that we have been forgiven, this builds our relationship with Him stronger and we are more dependant on Him, therefore we trust, love, talk, listen to and have faith in Him more.

Why did the soldiers mock Jesus? The soldiers mocked Jesus because they only served Caesar as their king. Jesus proclaimed to the soldiers and councel He is King of the Jews, Thru their ignorance they mocked Him because of this statement.
