When answering John`s question about whether He was the Christ, why did Jesus point out the results of his ministry rather than just saying yes or no?

Jesus pointed out the the resuts of his Ministry so that john could see that what was written in the scriptures were now becoming reality. This meant that those who see it would believe that he was the true Messiah.

Why do only some choose to accept Jesus and others oppose Him and His followers?

There will always be some people who will doubt that Jesus is who he says he is. Even though they saw the good he was doing like healing the sick and casting out devils. Also he was aman of humble beginings so they could not believe that he would have the power to do those things. Most ptople also do not believe in things they cannot see

What types of people are suited to be laborers in the harvest for Jesus?

People of a compassionate spirit to Christ and to his followers. An attitude of humidity, wise, obedient, those who are willing to sacrifice and stay firm in the word. Winning souls for the Glory of God.
