1547 entries for this category: Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour? .I think God`s message is quite clear.....The vineyard is compared to heaven. The payment is compared to salvation. Some workers will start early in the day where as other will start when the work is almost done but they are both going to get the same payment although some has worked harder than others. He has promised us salvation as long as we do his will. Someone may spend all his life serving God where as someone else may find God towards the end of his life. God is going to give both the salvation he has promised. He is not going to give more to one and less to another. His desire is for all to recieve salvation and everyone will be treated equally once they have made the decision to serve God whether it is for a day or a lifetime. The bottom line is to find God in our lives......so a man who is always good should not look down on someone who was a sinner but has repented because in the eyes of God both of them will be seen as equal and will recieve equal rewards. What this means for us....well if we have not turned to Christ it is not too late...we can start now, this very minute and our rewards or payment will be the same as all those who are christians before us. And if we are really true christians we will all be happy that God is a GENEROUS GOD treats all christians equally.

Why does Jesus keep telling the disciples that He is about to die? In the first place Jesus knew what his mission was, the whole idea was to let the disciples know ok this is why i am here this is why i came so that i might be glorified, so i have to die, and on the third i will raised up again and be with you always.
