It was there destined ways, to do as their masters say. Just as we would do as our Lord, God wants us to and be rewarded by him, they also obey their masters but they take the reward from our God almighty. Everyone has to do, an in accordance everyone will be rewarded.

The soldiers did as they were requested to, not knowing the consequences of their actions. You ever hear the saying 'monkey say monkey do'. One soldier started and hence everyone else followed him behind. Jesus had to die, no doubt about that, but the way in which he died was never deserving. And the ones whom he died for, were the ones who put him to death.

In return, we as his worshippers, followers, believers and his children are the ones to stand up, and honor our Lord in the midst of every other thing.
