Why did Jesus take just Peter,James and John with Him to witness his transfiguration? Jesus took Peter ,James ,John because they were his inner circle.His beloved.Peter was a rock upon him he built his church.

Jesus rebuked the disciples for being fearful .How should they have responded to the storm? The disciples should have believed in the word of God that says we are in the righteous right hand of GOD.They should not have feared but taken heart knowing that with them ,they had the creator of universe and everything therein.Implying that storm to Jesus was and is still nothing.Nothing could harm them when they were with him.Even today we should not fear over the storms of this world.For he who is in us is greater than who is in the world.We are in the right righteous hand of GOD.If we truly believe in him having or aiming towards a circumsized heart - our Saviour is always at our disposal.Hallelujah
