It comforts me because it tells us that there is heavenly justice as after suffering so much on earth, we can hope for a blissful existence in God's kindgdom. Similarly it tells us that goodness is also found in bad person. The rich man cared enough for his family left behind that he did not want them to suffer the same thing as his. It also advises that we should not be selfish and self-centered. We should care and help Third, that we, while we are still living and able, should not be selfish and self centered, that we should care and help those who are less fortunate than us.
