Why does Jesus tell the growing crowd that one must be willing to renounce everything, including one`s own life, to be Jesus` follower? Jesus tells the growing crowd that the person who is always physically and mentally involved in worldly things, emotions, relations, cannot be His follower. ,If one wants to become Jesus's follower, he will have to first act upon the teachings of the God and then attend to the worldly affairs.

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Because loving one another means to love one the way you love urself...it reflects that the love, care and importance an individual have for himself, likewise the same should also be given to others too.
