I agree that Jesus was right in his immediate and drastic action to get rid of the gamblers and money changers in the house of the Lord I think at that moment it was the only message they could have understood instead of souple words or a parable, that the temple is the house of the Lord our God a house and place of prayer and worship.

Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? Jesus took such action because he wanted to tell that his father's house is meant for religious purposes only.He did not condemn with words because judgement is reserved for his father in heaven.
