2709 entries for this category: Yes.Because by being lowly we can win the world.Example,Jesus himself came from heaven as a lowly person, born in a manger but ruled the world,that is he can save the world which is possible only by being lowly and humble he was exaulted by God and became the king of kings and Lord of lords who will come back to judge the living and the dead. Jesus values the lowly people very much as lowly people are obedient and always do the things which is assigned to them thus they are credited richly by his master.In the same way if we are lowly and serve others what is assigned to us God will give our credit richly. The intimate relationship with God is the key factor to be a lowly people. How? jesus said " Leave everything and take your cross and follow me "( Luke 14:25-27,33. ) when we leave everything, we will be alone with jesus which is intimate relationship!, then comes 1 peter 2:9 which says show Gods attitudes! so, to be a lowly people means, so obedient,and be changed person. for ex: before time i was an abusive and a acusive person, but now i am a BEARING PERSON. to bear means, that is Lord Jesus! If iam doing or showing or bearing that same attitudes of the lord is called lowly. Jesus said If anyone of you want to become great, be a servant of all. that much of lowly. Real meaning is BE A DOORMAT.Let every person may use that DOORMAT. which is lowly. thank you. Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? Yes indeed Jesus belives that the lowly people are of more value than the others. For instance, he received the sinners and the tax-collectors the most out-casted people of the community and was also dining with them happily.The samaritan women, Jesus did not hesitate to approch her for water, but she did, but Jesus drank water drawn by her. He treates them alike with no disparity or discrimination. He watches the lowely more keenly and declared that the old poor widow put everything of hers, just not like the others from their surpluses. Then the childrens though not of the same status as older people yet he gave them the higher status equeling that of his.
