Pity or sympathy for the sufferings and misfortunes of others and desire to give help or show mercy. : The Lord is good  to all and has compassion on all he has made  psalm 145:9  As God's chosen people.....cloth yourselves with compassion, kindness , humility, gentleness,and patience Collosians 3:2. Compassion in other way placing oneself in the place of some one who is suffering or having the same feeling of person who is suffering. Without divine love compassion is not possible.
