2709 entries for this category: Because we can give to poor even without a desire to please GOD. A heart that desire or long for GOD, to worship, praise and please him is what God looks. First priority to GOD, second others (friends, family, poor people etc) and then comes self. The reason I live is to worship him, to please him. Peter was convinced that he would be loyal to Jesus even if it meant dying. Who would you sincerely be willing to die for? Surely, it would be for Jesus only.

Why does Jesus encourage focusing on the daily task at hand and discourage predicting the future? Because Today is the gift of GOD, we never know what's going to happen tomorrow. Now is the right time. Jesus gonna bless me now, use me now, and i m gonna praise and serve him now.
