The Birth of Jesus Mary was foretold the news of Jesus` birth by the angel Gabriel. She came to know that she is going to give birth to the son of God. Mary might had very much happy. At the same time, she might had some tension as what the people will tell about her, as she was pledged to be married to Joseph. But Mary had surrendered herself before God to fulfil His will.

The Birth of Jesus Foretold The angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee and met the virgin, Mary. Having come in, the angel said to her, ``Rejoice, you highly favored one!
