But Peter claimed that he would be loyal to Jesus even if it meant dying. However, at the time of test, Peter failed and denied Jesus. This was also prediced by Jesus before the event. We all are taking decision that we will be willing to die for Jesus. But our decision should be sincere.

Gethsemane Jesus prayed to His Father to remove the cup of suffering from Him. But the plan of God was another one. That is, to die for the mankind. For that purpose only Jesus sent by His Father to this earth. After discussion with ``Abba Father`` Jesus made the final decision to surrender before the will of His Father.

Before the Sanhedrin The religious leaders gave false testimony against Jesus. However it was not agreed with each other. Then the High Priest asked Jesus ``Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?``. Jesus was the real Messiah, the people were expecting for years. But they did not recognise Jesus. For the charge, Jesus clearly stated that He is the Christ. It is also mentioned that you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky. These words made the High Priest anger and Jesus determined guilty.
