Peter Disowns Jesus Peter was very much loved Jesus. At the same time, he was over-confident that he will not deny Jesus in any occasion. But Jesus, who is knowing everything, told Peter that you will deny me three times. When the situation came for the test, Peter failed, simply to escape from that situatin. Peter denied Jesus three times. The rooster crowed the second time, and Peter remembered the word, Jesus said to him. Peter realised that he had denied Jesus. Peter understood his inability and cried.

Jesus Before Pilate The Roman governor, Pilate pleased the crowd by doing this. The Roman governor released Barabbas and handed over Jesus in place of him. Pilate done this for his popularity. The Roman governor had the authority to crucify any one. However, Pilate done this for his popularity.
